Down town Paris!
I can’t stress this enough… Paris is best viewed on foot! Forget the buses and cabs, the only way to take in real Parisienne lifestyle is by walking! You will discover an abundance of ‘ nooks and crannies ‘ from baguette stalls, funky wine bars, amaaaaaaaazing architecture, old school bistro’s and arty window displays scattered throughout this beautiful city.

From my hotel in Montmartre I walked everywhere… The Eiffel tower,Sacre Coeur, The Louvre and all the way around the Seine in 0 degree temperatures!
If you’re an avid photographer or novice like myself, bring your Nikon or Canon… You will love this city, just too many photo’s to snap!
Make sure you visit the Printemps Department Store located in the heart of Paris and sample the delicious macarons and cakes from the famous Laduree!
Grab a caffe crema ( Latte in Australia ) and check out the themed glass windows outside the front of H&M for an arty, yet fun experience!
Tip: Majority of the restaurants gulfing the Louvre are approx 300% more expensive than the equivalent or better about 400 meters away.
I won’t disclose a great deal of information on restaurants as 95% of
places serve fantasic cuisine. You realy need 6 months in this city to get a basic grasp however, as the rule of thumb goes ‘ If you can’t understand the menu, it’s generally awesome! Or ‘ Magnifique ‘ haha! For all you snail haters, please give ‘ escargot ‘ a chance as your taste buds will love them! I recommend the garlic and herb sauce too!
I guarantee I’ll return to this beautiful place within the next year or two so make sure you check it out!
Cheers
