Moylans Tipperary Pale Ale
Brewery: Moylans
Style: American Pale Ale ( APA )
Aroma: Cereal, roasted whole grains and a small hint of citrus.
Colour: Bright, light Amber.
Notes: Strong grain smell, almost resembles a bowl of corn or wheat based cereal with hot milk ??? Nice smooth head with a medium body. The Tipperary Pale Ale is not the greatest Pale Ale I’ve consumed, however it’s by no means offensive either. I thought it lacked the usual hoppy character of an American Pale Ale both in bittering and the after taste. Not a bad beer, however I would be surprised if I purchased another one. The smell of cereal / freshly mashed barley is definitely unique though, points for that!
